At Glenfield Services we specialise in those garden jobs that you may not have the time, confidence or physical ability to do yourself. Typical projects we do for customers include:
- landscaping to your specification, including patios, laying to turf and fencing
- regular lawn mowing (usually on a fortnighly cycle, but we can do more or less often as required)
- hedge cutting and hedge removal
- garden clearances, when things are out of hand and you need to gut out, dig over and start again
- tree felling and removal for smaller trees (we have to see them to let you know if we can do it)
Professional service at an affordable price
Dougie Lynn, proprietor of Glenfield Services, is an experienced and reliable professional. He worked as a greenkeeper for many years and is well versed in all aspects of landscaping and the general care and maintenance of grass, hedges, trees and borders.
We quote based on our estimated time to complete the job, at an hourly rate appropriate for the level of skill required. Our rates start at just £15 an hour. We do not charge VAT as we prefer to work on a smaller scale, personal service basis, and so are not a VAT registered business. Materials are charged on to you at the cost to us, and we will always provide you with an estimate for these in advance. We are well equipped and fully insured.
Based in Carnock, just outside of Dunfermline, we work throughout the Dunfermline area. We also work regularly in Edinburgh and on the Western Isles. We work in the Western Isles for a number of pre-set weeks each year. Please contact us for the details if you are interested in us doing work for you there.
